Neighbors Barista has announced plans to open a brick-and-mortar location at 1101 Nelson St in Rockville, occupying the former Essex Bank space in the Woodley Gardens shopping center.
Originally a mobile coffee bar and roaster known for its presence at the Kentlands Farmers Market on Saturdays, Neighbors Barista is expanding its operations while maintaining its commitment to quality coffee. According to the shop’s website, “Quality is not just taste but appreciating the seed-to-cup journey,” emphasizing fair practices for coffee growers and a dedication to excellence in every cup served.
Woodley Gardens is also home to popular spots like Carmen’s Italian Ice, Hard Times Cafe, Shanghai Taste, and Z&Z Bakery. Updates on Neighbors Barista will be shared as they become available.
