Tequila Modern Mexican at 11 N Washington Street in Rockville Town Center has announced its last day in business will be Saturday, January 11.
Tequila Modern signed on to take over the space in the first half of 2023 and opened approximately one and a half years later in September 2024, offering “authentic Mexican cuisine and refreshing cocktails.” The restaurant took over the longtime home of Trapezaria– a Greek restaurant that was previously open in the space for ten years.
Tequila Modern Mexican posted the following on its Instagram: “Rockville Maryland Community, We are deeply grateful for the support you have shown us and we look forward to new opportunities. We Will No Longer Be Opening Our Doors. Today Is Our Last Day Open For Business!” The restaurant has additional locations in Harrisonburg, VA.
