The 2025 NWSL season will kick off with a matchup between the Washington Spirit and defending champion Orlando Pride, the league announced today. Spirit fans will be able to see their favorite players like Trinity Rodman and Hal Hershfelt in action even earlier this year, a week before the regular season begins.
This year’s annual super cup will feature the Washington Spirit and Orlando Pride facing off in a rematch of the 2024 NWSL Championship on Friday, March 7 at 8 p.m. EST. Taking place at Inter&Co Stadium in downtown Orlando, Florida, the match will stream exclusively on Amazon Prime Video.
