The Washington Commanders are playing the Detroit Lions tonight and Dulles Airport, United, and the Commanders teamed up to send the flight off with Washington Commanders gear this morning.
In a Instagram post by Dulles Airport this morning, the airport wrote “Sent this United flight off to Detroit with swag from the Commanders ahead of tonight’s game!” The team replied with “arriving in style!”
The Commanders won their first playoff game since 2005, beating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 23-20 with a last second field goal that bounced in off the right upright. They head to Detroit to take on the 15-2 Lions in the divisional round tonight for the right to play in the NFC Championship.
