North Bethesda Meeting Regarding Bringing a Dog Park Back to the Community Takes Place February 4

The North Bethesda community is holding a meeting regarding bringing a dog park back to the community. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, February 4th from 6pm-8pm at the Forum Condominium (11801 Rockville Pike).

“The North Bethesda community has experienced a loss with the recent closure of Bark Social, leaving a gap in local dog park amenities. We invite all residents and stakeholders to come together for an open discussion about current plans for dog parks in the area, as well as potential future locations to serve our furry friends.”

Representatives from councilmemebr Kate Stewart’s office, Montgomery Parks, B-CC Regional Services Center, Federal Realty Trust, and the Pike District will be in attendance at the meeting. Meeting coordinators write, “Your input is important, and we hope you can join us for this collaborative conversation to ensure our community continues to be a great place for both people and pets” and note that “this event will focus solely on the development of dog parks and is not related to the ongoing legal situation or any business matters involving Bark Social.
