Woman Arrested After Striking Three Vehicles (Including Two Police Cruisers) in Stolen Car

On the evening of Thursday, February 13, 2025, a routine patrol by officers from the Montgomery County Police Department’s (MCPD) 3rd District turned into a pursuit that ended with the arrest of an adult female suspect, according to 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos.

The incident began around 9:35 PM when officers observed a vehicle running a red light near New Hampshire Avenue and Northwest Drive in the White Oak area, leading to a collision with a community member’s vehicle. The situation escalated as the suspect’s vehicle, which was later confirmed to be stolen, also struck two marked police cruisers during the chaotic sequence of events.

Following the initial crash, the suspect struck a police cruiser and fled the scene, prompting a short vehicle pursuit by the police. The chase came to an end when the suspect crashed into another police vehicle, allowing officers to apprehend her.

The suspect was transported to a local hospital for evaluation, with authorities suspecting possible drug intoxication at the time of her arrest. She now faces multiple traffic violations and criminal charges as a result of the incident.

Additional information about the suspect was not made available.
