Back in January, the Washington Capitals and Monumental Sports & Entertainment family released a statement wishing Washington Capitals color analyst Craig Laughlin the best as he focused on his health following open heart surgery. Today, Laughlin announced he will be returning to the broadcast booth on Sunday, March 30th.
Laughlin shared the following on social media Friday afternoon. “I am excited to officially announce that after 7 weeks post open heart surgery, I am finally making my return to the @capitals broadcast booth with @JoeBpXp this Sunday March 30th.”
Laughlin continued, “Thank you to everyone who supported me in my journey these last few months and a huge shoutout to @mayhockey16 who stepped up big time. I’m looking forward to being back with my @MonSportsNet family, and calling the GR8 chase and playoffs ahead!”
