Ben Standig reports that the Washington Commanders have signed defensive end Thabani Jehiel Tawana Maguranyanga– more commonly known as TJ Maguranyanga. He is a Zimbabwean professional rugby player.
According to Wikipedia, Maguranyanga is 22 and the Zimbabwean professional Rugby player previously competed for ASM Clermont Auvergne in the French Top 14.
In December 2024, Maguranyanga embarked on a new chapter in his career by being selected for the National Football League’s International Player Pathway (IPP) program. He now has the opportunity to compete for a spot on the Washington Commanders roster as a defensive end– a position where the team is eager to spark new energy. He will be the team’s IPP player.
