The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded to a shooting at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Wheaton on Monday night.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 9:36 p.m., 4D officers responded to the Dick’s Sporting Goods in the 11100 block of Veirs Mill Road for the report of a (non-contact) shooting.
An adult male suspect fired shots into the store and left the scene. No injuries have been reported. The scene is secure and there is no current threat to the community. This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
