In January 2024, we let you know that Mezeh Mediterranean Grill was coming to 18129 Town Center Dr in Olney. After more than a year, signage has now gone up in the windows as construction is set to begin on the interior of the restaurant.
Chopt was announced around the same time and has already opened next to the upcoming Mezeh location that will be taking over the space that was previously occupied by The Olney Winery in the Fair Hill Shopping Center. An opening date or timeframe is not yet available, but we’d expect it to be later this year.
Mezeh is a fast-casual eatery with a buffet-style of offerings that include rice and salad bowls, wraps and a variety of sauces and toppings that are very similar to national chain, CAVA. Mezeh Mediterranean Grill opened its first store in Annapolis, MD in 2013 and the has additional Montgomery County locations in Aspen Hill, Gaithersburg, and Germantown.
