The Commissioners of the Town of Poolesville have proposed an increase in the real property tax rate for the taxable year beginning July 1, 2025. If approved, the tax rate will increase from $0.1859 to $0.1877 per $100 of assessed value.
To provide community members with the opportunity to learn more about the proposed increase and share their views, a public hearing will be held at 7:00 p.m. on April 21, 2025. The meeting will take place at Poolesville Town Hall, located at 19721 Beall Street, Poolesville, MD. All members of the public are welcome to attend, and public testimony is strongly encouraged.
