Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a house fire in the 17600 block of Kohlhoss Road in Poolesville on Friday evening.
According to MCFRS Spokesperson David Pazos, a family of two was displaced and one cat did not survive. Damages are estimated at $35,000. We will provide an update if additional verified information becomes available.
