Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Assistant Chief David Pazos reported that a tanker operated by MCFRS was involved in a collision in the 9500 block of River Road in Potomac at 7:54 pm Saturday.
According to Pazos, the tanker was en route to a reported large vehicle fire on the Outer Loop of the beltway. Initially, it was reported that one civilian driver and two MCFRS employees sustained injuries at the scene, but a subsequent update shared that one civilian and one firefighter were hospitalized (two people total).
