Noah Brown joined the Washington Commanders in August 2024 and made an immediate impact during his nine starts until a kidney injury cut his season short. Recently, he sustained an injury during minicamp, and while the team hasn’t provided an official update since his MRI, a fan offered some reassurance.
“Just met him there, he’s fine,” Commanders fan James Pezzanite posted on X in response to reporter Ben Standig’s note that there was no injury update. Standig also mentioned that Brown was slated to appear at an autograph signing– the same event where Pezzanite encountered him.
Brown notably caught a 52-yard Hail Mary pass from rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels to secure a dramatic Week 8 victory over the Chicago Bears, a play some affectionately refer to as the “Hail Maryland.” During his first season with the Commanders, Brown recorded 35 receptions for 453 yards and one touchdown in 11 games, starting nine of them. Despite his injury setbacks, he re-signed with the team in March 2025, where he is expected to serve as a key veteran presence in their wide receiver corps.
