Police Investigate Shooting That Sends Two Juvenile Male Victims to the Hospital

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred late last night in Germantown. Officers from the 5th District responded to a call at approximately 10:37 pm Wednesday night regarding a shooting in the 20600 block of Shadyside Way.

According to MCPD, upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered two juvenile male victims who had sustained gunshot wounds. The injuries are reported to be non-life-threatening and victims were promptly transported to a nearby hospital where they are receiving medical care.

At this time, no further details have been released regarding potential suspects or the motive behind the shooting. MCPD shared the following on social media, “5th District officers are investigating a shooting in the 20600 block of Shadyside Way in Germantown.
