6 Skewers is now open at Commas Food Hall, a new 13,000-square-foot food destination on the third level of Ellsworth Place (8661 Colesville Rd) in Downtown Silver Spring.
The menu features Persian dishes including appetizers like Kashk Bademjan (eggplant with whey) and Mirza Ghasemi (smoky eggplant with tomato). Sandwiches include Bandari Heat (spicy beef franks), Falafel, and Mind Meets Mouth (veal brain and tongue). Grilled options include Koobideh (ground beef kabob), Joojeh Kabob (saffron chicken), and saffron or spicy wings. Full plates come with rice and sides, and dessert includes Shole Zard (saffron rice pudding).
