Dundalk, Maryland’s own Deli-ish (@delibaltimore), a modern New York-style delicatessen, has taken top honors at the 2025 Montgomery County Fair Foodie Awards. In their very first year as a vendor, Deli-ish wowed judges and fairgoers alike, securing the coveted “Best Overall” award for their exceptional Reuben sandwich.
Deli-ish, which operates a brick-and-mortar location in Dundalk and a popular food truck, has built a strong reputation for blending classic deli traditions with innovative regional flavors. Their victory at the prestigious MoCo Fair underscores their commitment to quality ingredients and mouthwatering recipes.
The winning Reuben sandwich, the star of their impressive menu, features “Corned Beef, Sauerkraut, Swiss, Russian Dressing on Grilled Rye.” Beyond their award-winning Reuben, Deli-ish boasts a diverse menu that caters to a wide range of tastes. Patrons can indulge in traditional deli staples like piled-high corned beef sandwiches, a nod to their New York-style inspiration. However, their Maryland roots shine through with popular offerings such as their savory crab cakes and creative crab cake egg rolls, showcasing the region’s beloved seafood.
Fans and newcomers alike are encouraged to visit Deli-ish in Dundalk or check them out on the strip headed towards the agricultural side of the fair, where most of the food stalls can be found.
