On August 10, at approximately 4:30 pm, the Takoma Park Police Department responded to a report of indecent exposure in the 7000 block of Westmoreland Avenue (People’s Book).
According to police, the victim stated that an unknown male engaged in a lewd act in the children’s section in front of minors before leaving the scene. Surveillance footage was obtained by police, but has not been shared publicly.
