On August 25, at approximately 4:10 pm, Takoma Park Police responded to the parking lot in the 7600 block of New Hampshire Avenue following a report of an armed robbery.
According to Takoma Park Police: “Upon arrival, officers met with the victim who reported that while sitting at a bus stop in front of the location, she was approached by two suspects. One suspect distracted her while the second suspect produced a knife, holding it by his side and pointing it toward the ground. The armed suspect then moved closer and forcibly removed jewelry from the suspect’s neck. Both suspects fled the scene on foot, heading southbound on New Hampshire Avenue.
Suspect Descriptions:
· Suspect One: Hispanic male, last seen wearing all black clothing and carrying a gray and camouflage backpack.
· Suspect Two: Hispanic male, wearing all black clothing, with long hair to the collar.
