Get ready to raise a glass to the crisp flavors of fall as the Maryland Apple Harvest Cider Festival makes its highly anticipated return. This one-of-a-kind event, a showcase of the state’s craft beverage scene, will take over Two Story Chimney (7115 Damascus Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20882) for an afternoon of delicious sips, savory bites, and live entertainment.
Hosted by The Cider Association of Maryland and Two Story Chimney Ciderworks, the festival offers an opportunity to explore the diverse world of Maryland-made ciders. From farm-based favorites to innovative urban craft-makers, attendees will enjoy an unbeatable lineup of small-batch ciders, alongside a curated selection of mead, wine, beer, and spirits from across the state.
Confirmed craft beverage producers include: B.C. Brewery, Branch Bender Cidery, Brothers Ridge Cider, Chesapeake Cider Co., Clear Skies Meadery, Doc Waters Cidery, Free State Ciders, Hub City Brewery, Loew Vineyards, Pub Dog Brewing, Red Shedman Farm Brewery, Silver Wheel Cellars, Two Story Chimney Ciderworks, Willow Oaks Craft Cider, and Holyrood Meadery & Youghiogheny Cider House @ Weber’s Crossing. Special guests from the PA Cider Guild will also be in attendance, alongside spirits from Pathfinder Farm Distillery.
Beyond the beverages, the festival promises a feast for the senses with an impressive lineup of food vendors, including: Origins BBQ & Grill, Jimmy’s Famous Seafood, The Pita King, Sacred Kitchen, Blended Bakery Co, Beloved Bakeshop, and IC Dream.
Adding to the festive atmosphere, live music will be provided by Eamon Curley and Enslow, ensuring a lively soundtrack to your afternoon. Attendees can also browse and purchase handcrafted goods from a variety of artisan vendors, such as HMS Metals, Something Earthy, LCSprague Artisan Crafts, Corinne Crone Artwork, and KB Candle Shop.
The Maryland Apple Harvest Cider Festival is a rain-or-shine event, welcoming families and their furry friends. Minor children must be accompanied by an adult at all times, and pets must be good-tempered, leashed, and their owners are responsible for cleanup.
