On September 29, at approximately 2:26 am, Takoma Park Police responded to the 1300 block of University Blvd. following a report of an armed robbery.
According to police, a “victim reported being robbed while sleeping in his vehicle. An unknown male suspect on a scooter entered the victim’s vehicle, displayed a 6-inch knife, and stole property from the victim. The suspect fled on the scooter toward Prince George’s County in an unknown direction.
Units canvassed the area with negative results. A lookout was provided to surrounding jurisdictions. The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Takoma Park Police Department at 301-270-1100and reference case #250043721.”
