According to police, the driver of the vehicle remained on the scene after the crash. The incident occurred in Rockville, and authorities are urging drivers to avoid the area and expect significant delays while the investigation continues.
The closure was first reported by MCPD at 9:14am on Sunday, in a traffic advisory shared on social media. Eastbound lanes of Montrose Drive remain blocked, and alternate routes are recommended until further notice.
