Coming soon signage has gone up for La Baguette Antojitos at 275 N Washington St, Suite B in Rockville, the former home of Lavande Patisserie, a beloved Asian-inspired French pastry shop that closed over the summer after ten years in business. (h/t @pike.and.rozay)
While not much information has been released about the new bakery, the exterior signage features images of croissants, pastries, and tacos.
Lavande Patisserie was founded in 2015 by Andrew Liang, who transitioned from a career in IT, alongside his mother, Julie Yi. Over the past decade, the shop grew into a community favorite, known for handcrafted baked goods, artisan coffee, custom cakes, seasonal breads, sandwiches, and desserts.
