The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded Thursday evening to a shooting in the Fairland area.
At approximately 5:43 p.m., 3rd District officers were dispatched to the 3000 block of Memory Lane for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers located an adult female suffering from gunshot wounds. She was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
No suspect is currently in custody. The investigation remains active and ongoing. Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Montgomery County Police Department.
