The Ladies Philoptochos Society of Saint George invites the community to celebrate the season at their annual Greek Holiday Bazaar, happening Saturday, November 15, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Saint George Greek Orthodox Church (7701 Bradley Blvd, Bethesda, MD 20817).
Guests can enjoy an afternoon filled with delicious homemade Greek food, favorites like souvlaki, pastichio, spanakopita, and more, alongside Greek pastries, wine, and specialty treats. Beyond the food, the bazaar features over 30 vendors offering everything from handmade jewelry, pottery, and ornaments to beauty products, olive oil, and holiday décor.
Each vendor contributes to the philanthropic mission of Philoptochos, an organization dedicated to supporting those in need through community outreach and fundraising. Proceeds from the event help fund charitable efforts locally and beyond, providing aid to families, individuals, and organizations in crisis.
“This event brings together great food, wonderful people, and a shared purpose,” said one organizer. “Every table here helps us do a little more good in the world.” Visitors can browse festive gifts, enjoy live community spirit, and take home a little piece of Greek holiday tradition, all while supporting a meaningful cause.
