The Five Guys restaurant located at 3333 Olney Sandy Spring Road will close its doors for the final time on Sunday, December 7, according to an employee who confirmed the upcoming closure during a phone call on Thursday evening.
The popular burger chain has operated in the Olney location for many years, serving as a frequent stop for local families, students, and commuters. No official public announcement has been made regarding the reason for the closing, and it is not yet known whether another tenant is lined up for the space.
Five Guys continues to operate multiple other locations across Montgomery County, but the Olney restaurant will end service at the conclusion of business on Sunday.
