Stretch Lab Closes in Olney

StretchLab’s Olney location appears to have permanently closed after operating for about a year, despite online listings suggesting a temporary shutdown.

The assisted-stretching studio was located at 18304 Village Center Drive in Olney Village Center, between HomeGoods and TJ Maxx. The space was previously home to Sally Beauty Supply and, before that, Sunburst Tanning (also known as Solar Planet). The Olney StretchLab location is currently listed on Google as “temporarily closed,” with a reopening date of January 1. That reopening did not take place.

A call placed to the studio on Sunday evening reaches a recorded voicemail stating that the Olney location officially closed on November 30. The message redirects customers to StretchLab’s Kentlands location in Gaithersburg for continued services.

No public announcement regarding the closure appears on the Olney location’s Google listing or social media channels. It is unclear what led to the closure or whether the space will be backfilled by another tenant.

StretchLab is a national franchise focused on one-on-one assisted stretching designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and recovery. The Olney studio opened roughly a year ago as part of the brand’s broader expansion in Montgomery County and the DMV.
