Montgomery County police are investigating a collision involving a school bus and another vehicle that occurred Monday afternoon in Silver Spring.
According to Montgomery County Police, 3rd District officers were dispatched at 4:09 to the 8400 block of 11th Avenue following reports of a crash involving a school bus and a vehicle.
Police said there were no reported injuries at the scene. It is not yet known how many students were on the bus at the time of the collision. Additional information will be released by police as it becomes available, and this story will be updated accordingly.
5:34pm update by MCPD: Montgomery County Police said one student was on the school bus at the time of the collision in the 8400 block of 11th Avenue. No injuries were reported. Police said both vehicles remained on the scene and sustained only minor damage.
