The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) responded at 7:50pm to a reported armed robbery that occurred at the transit center on the 9600 block of Lost Knife Rd in Gaithersburg near the former Lakeforest Mall.
According to police, the victim was later located in the 200 block of N. Frederick Ave and was transported with a minor stab wound. No suspect is currently in custody, and the investigation remains ongoing.
MCPD shared the following on X at 8:38pm: “MCPD dispatched at 7:50 p.m. for a reported armed robbery. Incident occurred at transit center in the 9600 block of Lost Knife Rd. Victim located at 200 block of N. Frederick Ave. Victim transported with minor stab wound. No suspect in custody.”
