Montgomery County’s top high school basketball seniors will take the court together one final time this week as part of the 2025-2026 Montgomery County Coaches Senior All-Star Game.
The event will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at 6pm at Montgomery College in Rockville. Admission is $5 (cash) at the door. The upcoming game was shared by @moco.hoops, a social media account created by Northwest High School boys varsity basketball coach C.J. Jenkins that highlights high school basketball happenings across Montgomery County.
The event will feature standout senior players from across the county split into two teams: North/West and South/East.
Players representing the North/West team include Armaan Jain (Poolesville), Emmanuel Chukwurah (Poolesville), Jordan Smith (Poolesville), Jaylin Ouattara (Northwest), Jayden Thompson (Damascus), Ian Bullie (Seneca Valley), Ahmed Hassan (Churchill), Christian Walker (Walter Johnson), Tim Byrd (Bethesda-Chevy Chase), Bobby Zedak (Whitman), and Chase Mitchell (Wootton). The team will be coached by Poolesville’s BJ Debuchananne.
The South/East team will feature Ben Scholes (Rockville), Bakar Abu (Blair), Dante Payne (Wheaton), Michael Wright (Kennedy), Boogie Vaughan-Cooper (Richard Montgomery), Christian Kennard (Blake), Armani Fowlkes (Blake), Tahj Martin (Blake), Alim Sesay (Paint Branch), and Jonah Wertlieb (Magruder). The team will be coached by Blake head coach Brandon Howell.
The game provides an opportunity for some of Montgomery County’s top graduating players to showcase their skills one last time on the court while celebrating their high school basketball careers. The event is open to the public ($5 at the door), and fans from across the county are encouraged to attend and support the players as they wrap up their high school careers.
