The City of Gaithersburg is making it easier for residents to take care of everyday tasks with the launch of a new self-serve kiosk inside City Hall.
City officials recently announced that the kiosk is now available in the lobby, offering a centralized and convenient way for community members to access a wide range of services during normal business hours.
The new system allows residents to apply for city jobs, submit applications for permits, plans, and licenses, and handle parking-related matters such as paying or disputing tickets. It also provides access to services like applying for residential parking permits, submitting public information requests, and scheduling bulk pickup.
City leaders say the addition is part of an ongoing effort to improve accessibility and streamline how residents interact with local government services. By placing multiple commonly used services in one easy-to-use station, the kiosk aims to reduce wait times and simplify processes that previously may have required multiple steps or offices.
The kiosk is now open to the public during City Hall’s regular hours, giving residents another option to quickly and efficiently complete important tasks in person.
