Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred on Friday, March 27, 2026, at approximately 10:20 pm in the 12900 block of Twinbrook Parkway in Rockville.
Responding officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel located 20-year-old Kamonte Dwayne Frazier of Washington, D.C., in a parking lot with apparent gunshot wounds and began CPR before he was transported to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has ruled the manner of death a homicide. At this time, no suspect information has been released and no arrests have been made. The investigation remains ongoing, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County, where tips can be submitted anonymously and may be eligible for a reward.
