A new fusion concept is getting ready to debut at Westfield Montgomery, building on the momentum of one of the mall’s most popular recent openings.
Shiki Fusion is aiming to open in mid-April, according to a representative working at Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings, whose team is behind the new restaurant. Nan Xiang has drawn significant crowds since opening in the mall last fall, and the group is now expanding its footprint with a concept that blends two distinct culinary traditions.
Located above Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings and across from the AMC movie theater, Shiki Fusion will center its menu around a combination of Japanese and Thai cuisine. The restaurant describes itself as “an exquisite culinary symphony of Japan and Thailand,” bringing together the precision and technique of Japanese cooking with the bold, spice-forward flavors of Thai dishes.
The menu is expected to feature a mix of fresh sushi, traditional Thai offerings, and a chef-curated omakase tasting experience designed for guests looking for something more adventurous. According to the restaurant, its chefs are trained in both Japanese and Thai techniques, with an emphasis on balancing authenticity and innovation across each dish.
Shiki Fusion also plans to highlight high-quality ingredients, including daily-sourced fish, organic herbs, and premium spices. In addition to its core menu, the restaurant will offer weekday happy hour specials and a late-night menu featuring discounted signature rolls and cocktails.
The space itself is being designed to reflect the fusion concept, combining minimalist Japanese elements with Thai-inspired accents to create a warm, modern dining environment.
