Montgomery County Police are asking for the public’s help as detectives continue investigating a shooting that left a woman seriously injured in Germantown last year.
According to an April 2nd, 2026 police press release, the incident occurred on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at approximately 9:40pm in the area of Beaconfield Terrace. Officers responded to reports of shots fired and, upon arrival, located an adult female suffering from a gunshot wound.
Investigators say the victim was inside her residence at the time of the shooting. She sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
The 5th District Investigative Section is now seeking additional information from the public. Detectives are urging anyone who may have witnessed the incident, noticed suspicious activity in the area around the time of the shooting, or has information about a possible suspect or suspects to come forward.
