Signage Goes Up at Upcoming Shake Shack Location

Signage is now up at the future Shake Shack location in Downtown Bethesda, marking another visible step forward as the restaurant moves closer to opening.

The new signage has been installed at 7535 Old Georgetown Road, the former SunTrust bank space on the ground floor of the Element 28 development. While an official opening date has not yet been announced, the addition of exterior branding suggests the project is entering its final stages and could be opening soon.

As previously reported, Shake Shack secured a nearly $1 million interior build-out permit for the space, signaling a significant investment in the new location. The Downtown Bethesda location will become Shake Shack’s fourth in Montgomery County, joining existing restaurants in the Kentlands, Westfield Montgomery Mall, and Cabin John Village.
