Montgomery County Police are investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian that has closed a portion of Cashell Road in Olney Monday afternoon.
According to MCPD, the crash occurred around 3:05pm and involves a vehicle and an adult male pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with serious injuries. The driver remained on scene.
As of 3:51pm, Cashell Road is closed between Jenner Court and Bready Road. Drivers are advised to expect delays and use alternate routes while the investigation remains active.
More information is expected to be released as it becomes available.
