Montgomery County police released their daily crime summary for April 14, 2026, highlighting several incidents reported across multiple districts.
In the 2nd District, which covers areas including Bethesda, Chevy Chase, and portions of Silver Spring, an auto theft involving a motorcycle was reported in the 5000 block of Bradley Boulevard. The theft occurred overnight between 9pm on April 13 and 9am on April 14, with the motorcycle taken from a parking lot.
In the 4th District, which includes Wheaton, Aspen Hill, and Glenmont, an aggravated assault involving students was reported at Parkland Middle School in the 4600 block of West Frankfort Drive. The incident occurred at 3:38pm when one student physically assaulted another on school grounds.
In the 5th District, covering Germantown, Clarksburg, and surrounding areas, multiple incidents were reported. A trailer theft occurred in the 13000 block of Clopper Road between 5pm on April 13 and 8am on April 14. At Seneca Valley High School in the 19400 block of Crystal Rock Drive, a hate and bias incident was reported at 12:40pm after an anti-Semitic message was found written on a bathroom wall. Police responded and the investigation remains ongoing.
Later that evening, at 11:51pm, officers responded to the 12900 block of Pinnacle Drive for an aggravated assault involving a firearm. According to police, a suspect arrived at a residence armed with a handgun and made threats. The incident remains under investigation.
