A portion of New Hampshire Avenue is closed Tuesday morning following a traffic collision involving a Ride On bus in the White Oak area.
According to Montgomery County Police, 3rd District officers were dispatched at approximately 7:20am to the area of New Hampshire Avenue and Mahan Road for the crash.
New Hampshire Avenue is currently closed at Mahan Road, and drivers are being advised to seek alternate routes and expect delays in the area. Police say the Ride On bus was occupied by six people, including the driver, at the time of the collision. All six individuals were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.
The circumstances surrounding the crash remain under investigation.
