Spirit Halloween is hiring for a seasonal store at Clarksburg Premium Outlets, making it the first confirmed Montgomery County store in the 2026 Halloween season.
While an opening date has not yet been announced, the retailer is typically one of the first signs that fall is around the corner. Spirit Halloween usually reveals its full lineup of seasonal locations in August, with stores generally opening in late August or early September. Additional Montgomery County locations are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Last year, Spirit Halloween operated three Montgomery County stores. Those locations included 30 Grand Corner Avenue at Rio in Gaithersburg, were Orange Pocket will soon open, the former Party City space at Westfield Wheaton (11160 Veirs Mill Rd.), and the former Buy Buy Baby space at 1683 Rockville Pike in Congressional Plaza, where Nordstrom Rack will open later this year.
Since last Halloween, two of those locations have found permanent tenants. The Rio space will soon become Orange Pocket, while the former Buy Buy Baby location at Congressional Plaza is being transformed into a Nordstrom Rack. The former Party City space at Westfield Wheaton remains available for another potential seasonal return.
Each year, Spirit Halloween stores offer a wide selection of costumes, home decorations, animatronics, makeup, accessories, and other Halloween-themed merchandise. The company operates more than 1,400 seasonal stores across North America, while its online store remains open year-round.
