Montgomery County police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an attempted first-degree murder that occurred at a Silver Spring restaurant last week.
According to the Montgomery County Department of Police, the incident happened around 10:34pm on Friday, July 10, at The Angry Jerk, located in the 8200 block of Georgia Avenue. Detectives say the unidentified suspect entered the men’s restroom, where he allegedly stabbed the victim multiple times before fleeing the scene.
The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30 years old, about 6 feet tall and 175 pounds, with long locs. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, tan sneakers, and a tan and burgundy baseball cap.
Police have released surveillance photos of the suspect and are asking anyone who recognizes him or has information about the incident to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County by calling 1-866-411-8477 or submitting an anonymous tip online.
