The Hunter’s Hound, located at 5471 Wisconsin Ave. in Chevy Chase, will close permanently on Thursday, September 3, nearly five years after opening in December 2021.
A representative for the Irish-themed restaurant said the location was not generating enough business to continue operating. The restaurant’s menu features traditional Irish-inspired dishes including chicken liver pâté, beef and Guinness stew, fish and chips, and sticky toffee pudding.
Owner Jason O’Brien opened Hunter’s Hound after previously establishing Irish restaurants in New York City and Jersey City, New Jersey.
