The Montgomery County Department of Police shared an overview of reported calls for service from September 3, 2026. Police noted that the summary does not reflect all calls for service on the referenced date.
In the 3rd District, which includes Silver Spring, Takoma Park, White Oak and Burtonsville, a stolen motorcycle was recovered at approximately 8:18pm near FDA Blvd and Cherry Hill Rd. Two people were arrested. Police also reported a robbery at approximately 3:30am in the 8300 block of Fenton St, where a victim was assaulted and had property taken.
In the 5th District, which includes Germantown, Clarksburg, Damascus and surrounding areas, a vehicle was stolen from the 12100 block of Island View Cir sometime between 8:30pm on Wednesday, September 2, and 5:30pm on Thursday, September 3.
In the 6th District, which includes Montgomery Village and Gaithersburg, two students were found with weapons during separate incidents at a school in the 5900 block of Muncaster Mill Rd between 8:31am and 8:49am. One person was taken into custody. Police also reported that a vehicle was stolen from the 300 block of Kentlands Blvd at approximately 10:23pm.
