MCPD shared an overview of reported calls for service from September 16, 2026, including thefts from vehicles, auto thefts and burglaries across Montgomery County.
In the 1st District, five airbags were reported stolen from vehicles, including incidents in the 12800 and 13000 blocks of Twinbrook Pkwy. and the 200 block of Rollins Ave.
In the 2nd District, two catalytic converters were reported stolen from vehicles in the 3900 block of Washington St. and the 9000 block of Kirkdale Rd.
In the 3rd District, two vehicles were reported stolen, one from the 1000 block of Quebec Ter. and another from the 14500 block of Almanac Dr. An airbag was also stolen from a vehicle in the 11700 block of Old Columbia Pike. Police also reported an attempted residential burglary in the 10500 block of Royal Rd., where a suspect broke a basement window and left the area.
In the 6th District, a storage unit in the unit block of W. Diamond Ave. was reportedly broken into twice and property was taken. A vehicle was also reported stolen from the 11900 block of Bayswater Rd.
