The Maryland Department of Transportation is resurfacing Piney Branch Rd between Eastern Ave and Sligo Ave, with that began today, September 17, and will continue through September 21.
Milling was scheduled for September 8-12. Work generally takes place from 7am to 5pm, with one lane closed at a time and flaggers directing traffic through the work zone. Drivers should expect minor delays.
No Parking restrictions may remain posted on weekdays through September 23 to accommodate weather delays and potential schedule changes. Residents must follow all posted temporary parking restrictions, even when construction activity is not visible. Vehicles parked in restricted areas may be ticketed or towed.
The schedule remains tentative and could change due to weather, construction progress or other unforeseen circumstances.
