Montgomery County Police shared an overview of reported calls for service from Tuesday, September 29, including three auto thefts, an armed robbery, a theft from a vehicle and a hate/bias incident.
In the 2nd District, which includes Bethesda, Chevy Chase, Potomac and surrounding areas, an auto theft was reported in the 5000 block of Cushing Dr. Police said a vehicle was taken sometime between 11pm Monday, September 28 and 7:30am Tuesday.
In the 3rd District, which includes Silver Spring, White Oak and surrounding areas, an auto theft was reported in the 8500 block of Carroll Ave. A vehicle was taken sometime between 10pm Monday and 6:50am Tuesday.
In the 4th District, which includes Wheaton, Aspen Hill, Olney and surrounding areas, a vehicle was reported stolen from the 2300 block of Glenallan Ave sometime between 2pm Sunday, September 27 and 3pm Tuesday. An armed robbery was also reported in the 13000 block of Hathaway Dr between 3:30 and 5:05pm Tuesday. Police said a victim was threatened and had property taken.
In the 5th District, which includes Germantown, Clarksburg and surrounding areas, a theft from a vehicle was reported near Brandermill Dr and Oxbridge Dr between 11 and 11:30am Monday. Police said a trailer door was forced open and property was taken.
In the 6th District, which includes Gaithersburg, Montgomery Village and surrounding areas, a hate/bias incident was reported in the 100 block of Education Blvd at 12:14pm Tuesday. According to police, an antisemitic symbol was found drawn on a table at a high school.
