A third suspect has been charged with first-degree murder and conspiracy in connection to the November 2023 shooting death of 20-year-old Orlando Alexander Satz, Jr., who was found with gunshot wounds after crashing his car into a parked vehicle on Spruell Drive in Silver Spring.
According to police, “On September 25, 2024, Montgomery County Department of Police – Major Crimes detectives obtained an arrest warrant charging 22-year-old Alonzo Jerome Lyles of Gaithersburg with first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
Two other suspects have been arrested and charged in connection to the Spruell Drive homicide – De’shaun McCrimmon of Kensington, MD, and Jose Ramon Ventura, of Silver Spring.
Jose Ramon Ventura was arrested on Thursday, June 20, 2024, and charged with accessory after the fact for driving and transporting McCrimmon and Lyles on the night of the shooting. He is being held without bond.
On Saturday, August 24, detectives requested and obtained a warrant for McCrimmon’s arrest, charging him with first-degree murder. He was arrested on Tuesday, August 27, in Silver Spring, and is currently being held at the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit (CPU) without bond.
Lyles is currently being held without bond on unrelated charges.”
