The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating a homicide in the 12000 block of Sandalwood Lane in Silver Spring.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 6:56 p.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the location and found an 88-year-old male who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The decedent will be transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore, where an autopsy will be conducted to officially determine the cause and manner of death.
This is an active and ongoing investigation.”
