Online Time Sheets and Leave Requests To Start in December for MCPS

Back in June we let you know that MCPS planned to make the move away from requiring employees to fill out physical timesheets and leave request forms during thie 2024/2024school year, and the school system confirmed in its Staff Bulletin that it will be launching Hub+ this December to make that happen.

Per the Staff Bulletin, “MCPS will launch Hub+ in December. The online Human Capital Management (HCM) system-which will include a new employee dashboard-will be self-service, mobile-friendly and allow employees to fill out time cards and make leave requests online (no more paper timesheets!), see pay and employment information, update personal information and make benefit elections.”

What’s coming? Notifications for administrators in MCPS Hub+ when an employee submits an absence request, the ability for administrators to approve absences with one click, and being able to review time cards weekly online.

Online training courses for timekeepers and line managers will be released on Professional Development Online (PDO). on Wednesday, Nov. 6. Districtwide training for all employees will be released on PDO on Wednesday, Nov. 13. Training is not mandatory, but highly recommended.

All employees will need to know their MCPS login username and password before Hub+ launches. Now is a good time to make sure you can log in to your email. If you need help, contact the Help Desk at 240-740-8100.
