Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded Friday morning to a report of a goose stuck in a tree on Citadel Ave off Old Georgetown Rd. in North Bethesda.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, a passerby spotted the goose and alerted authorities. Montgomery County Animal Services, with assistance from Fire & Rescue, successfully rescued the bird.
