Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a vehicle fire on westbound MD200 (ICC) between route 29 and New Hampshire Ave.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, several units responded prior to 2pm on Monday afternoon and were able to extinguish the fire. Some lanes remain blocked and a witness stated the occupant of the vehicle was able to get out.
